Why Explurian exists
My husband and I have lived in our 2022 Cedar Creek 377BH full-time for four years.
Earlier this year, we found out we'd been missing something the whole time. Wheel bearings. They were supposed to be greased regularly, and we hadn't done them once. Nobody told us. The dealer didn't mention it when we bought the rig. The manuals were scattered across a dozen different component brands, and the relevant page was buried in a binder we'd flipped through once.
Four years. We never thought to ask.
So I started asking other RVers: where did you learn what maintenance your rig actually needs? The answers came back fast, and they were almost always the same. YouTube. Whatever your dealer happens to mention. A friend who's been doing it longer. A stranger on Reddit.
One couple told me they had a ten-inch-thick accordion file of manuals taped together over the years. Another owner told me they'd been full-timing for seven months and still felt like they had no idea what they were doing.
RV ownership shouldn't feel like that.
